The term soroptism comes from the Latin words “soror” (sister, friend) and “optima” (excellent) and could be translated as “the best for women” and signals its ideological content.

Soroptimism is a global, voluntary women’s organization that unites women around the world regardless of racial, religious, political and cultural differences, in a fraternal effort to create better living conditions around the world.

The goals and values ​​of our organization are Human Rights, the promotion of the position of women, volunteering.
