Our team reconstructed and enhanced the existing e-shop’s functionality, aiming for a better user experience and increased sales. The project included developing custom features on the product page and optimizing filters to make the e-shop more user-friendly and efficient.

Tasks implemented:

Creation of a second recommended products section (“Combine it with”)

We designed and implemented a new section on the product page titled “Combine it with,” allowing customers to see related or complementary products.

This approach:

Enhances upselling and cross-selling
Increases the average order value
Improves the overall user experience with meaningful recommendations

Addition of multiple product colours with quantity selection

We integrated a feature that allows users to select multiple colours for a product with a single click, setting a separate quantity for each colour. As a result:

The purchasing process is simplified for products with multiple colour options
Customers gain more control and a better navigation experience
The e-shop gains smarter functionality that reduces checkout steps

Linking OpenCart filters with colours

The existing filters of the OpenCart platform were enriched with colour selection functionality. Instead of displaying only text, filters are visually represented with colour buttons, which:

Facilitates product search
Improves UI/UX
Makes browsing more immediate and attractive to users

Outcome

With these improvements, the e-shop was substantially renewed in terms of user experience and commercial performance. The new features enhance usability, reduce product search time, and contribute to increased orders.
